Flori came to life one morning back in early February 2024, whilst watching 'Alan Titchmarsh Love Your Weekend', one of our weekends must haves, along with 'James Martin Saturday Morning'.

My Husband and I love candles and home fragrance! Anywhere we go, whether it be a cute little shop whilst on holiday, a garden centre, even the local supermarket, we always seem to end up with something at the check out. But every time we finally find one we love, it's discontinued or we cannot find it again. So I thought, why not make my own!

I knew instantly I wanted to involve flowers in some way as I absolutely love being outside. I have my own allotment and that is definitely my place of sanctuary (outside of our gorgeous smelling home), and I knew I wanted whatever I produced to be friendly to the environment.

Why Flori?
When thinking of a brand for Flori, I wanted it to be something personal to me, but not something that would be instantly related to me, like a first name or surname.

In my younger years my Nan & Gramp always called me Flori, after Gramps Mum, Florence, as she loved drinking tea as did I... and still do! Cant beat a good cuppa.

When researching the name Flori and where it comes from I found it means flower, so tying into my original want for the products to include flowers, and my love of the garden and anything outdoors, it was a match made in Heaven!

All of our products are hand poured so they are not all identical. We also use plant-based wax so you may get "frosting" on the candles or wax melts. This will not affect the way products burn or impact the scent, it is simply the wax wanting to return to its natural state.
